Magnolia ISD students made encouraging academic progress on the spring 2026 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), outperforming state benchmarks in several key areas. The results highlight student achievement across grade levels and reflect positive momentum in the district’s academic performance.

According to Community Impact, Magnolia ISD improved its scores from 2025 in fourth- and eighth-grade math, as well as fifth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade reading. The district also posted gains on the Algebra I, Biology, and English I end-of-course exams, while maintaining its previous year’s scores in English II and U.S. History.

These results offer families another reason to feel encouraged about the educational opportunities available in Magnolia ISD. With progress across multiple subjects and grade levels, the district continues to support students as they develop the knowledge and skills needed for future success.
