Construction Update
HIGH MEADOW ESTATES, SECTION 11
October 3, 2022

High Meadow Development Co. is pleased to provide you with details regarding the progress of construction in Section 11 of High Meadow Estates. Despite considerable challenges, we have made significant progress in driving construction to its eventual completion. We will be working to provide monthly updates until the completion of Section 11.
Road and Drainage Construction
- Roadside ditches have been cut and shaped.
- Road stabilization has been completed.
- Road base will be complete by the middle of October.
- Asphalt will be starting between the middle of November and the middle of December.
Detention Ponds
- Detention Ponds have been started and are estimated to be complete by the beginning of next year. The completion of detention ponds is profoundly affected by the weather. Changes in the schedule are likely.
Utilities
- Water is complete and pressurized. Meters can be requested by Dobbins Water.
- Gas is complete and pressurized. Meters can be requested by Epcor.
- Communication installation was started this week. The conduit installation is estimated to be complete by the middle of October. We are waiting to get an estimate on the delivery of the fiber wire which is back-ordered. Consolidated is the communications provider.
Power
- Entergy is the provider for power in Section 11.
- The power installation started this week. The conduit is currently being installed. Entergy is working on providing an ETA as to when Section 11 will have transformers delivered and installed. Power will not be energized until the transformers have been installed. We will pass on their update as soon as they provide it.
Mail Kiosk
- The mail kiosk will not be scheduled until after the asphalt is complete.
Fence
- The boundary fence on the property line against Shady Oaks will be installed once the fence is complete in Sections 9 and 10 in High Meadow Estates. It is estimated to be complete by the beginning of next year.
NOTES
– Temporary culverts – Until asphalt is installed, the developer allows temporary culverts to be installed in the roadside ditches, this will allow the roadside ditches to be cut to the proper elevation once the asphalt is completed on the road. It is always the landowner’s (or their representative’s) responsibility to install the permanent culverts once the roads are paved.
– Permanent culverts – permanent culverts are required to be installed on any lot that is under construction AFTER the asphalt has been installed. If you are building on a lot that already has asphalt, a temporary culvert is not permitted.
– All dates provided are subject to change due to a variety of factors, including but not limited to: weather, material, and labor availability.
