If you are retired, have grandchildren or children who have aged out of the district, and reside within the boundaries of Magnolia ISD, there is an opportunity for you to take a role within the district. The STARS (Seniors Taking Active Roles) program is opening applications for those who would like to get involved in the school system and make a difference in their community.
STARs will have the opportunity to learn from district leaders who are responsible for making sure Magnolia ISD is strong financially and academically. The program will also cover topics such as meeting with the Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jason Bullock, gain knowledge about growth and development in Magnolia, learn about programs, academics and more.
Some benefits from being a STAR is Maroon Card pass for home athletic games and fine art performances ,special activities designed for the interest of the group, including new facility tours, discounted tickets to select fine arts and athletic events and opportunities with school district leaders.
